TP the GP 2010 was an incredible success thanks to the support of our community.
On Monday, July 25th, TP the GP 2011 will be here. We can’t wait to get TP’d by you again!

Support our Bottom Line!
What can we say? Our supporters are phenomenal. Thanks to you, the goal of $15,000 was met before midnight last night- and donations are still coming in! What a way to celebrate National Toilet Paper Day, but even more, what a way to show your support of and concern for the women and children we serve. Thank you. With all your help, we know we’ll be able to have safe and clean restrooms available when we need them, and that is huge.
We’re thrilled to announce that thanks to your support, TP the GP has raised over $14,000 of our $15,000 goal! Those funds will support our bottom line by providing safe, clean restrooms for the women and kids we serve. Can you help us reach our goal today?
Celebrate with us in the following four ways:

Toilet paper is not always serious business. We thought we’d kick off the weekend by sharing one of our favorite TP projects with you!
Check out these amazing silhouettes made out of empty TP rolls!
Wow! Come back next Friday when we’ll share another fun link with you!
Did you see today’s Denver Post? TP the GP got a great shout out from Bill Husted… Think the Stall’s going to get more crowded now?
Don’t forget to enter our how much TP would it take to get to Tokyo contest for the chance to win a Card Project card. See the previous post to enter.
We’re curious because that’s the location of our furthest donor! Lucia claimed her spot on the Stall of Fame last night, all the way from Japan! She’s not the only far-flung supporter of TP the GP- Gregory in Canada is up on the Stall too. We’re so grateful to all of the folks who’ve put their names on the Stall in the last few days.
In celebration of these remote donors, we’ve got a trivia contest for you today! Take a guess at how many rolls of the industrial TP used in our bathrooms it would take to reach from Capitol Hill to Tokyo. The closest guess will win a certificate for a free card from The Card Project! You have until 9am MST on Weds, 7/14/10, to post your guesses. Good luck!
Thanks for stopping by to check out TP the GP, a campaign in support of The Gathering Place- Denver’s only daytime drop-in center for women and their children experiencing homelessness and poverty. We’re kicking off this campaign with some great news- thanks to the generous support of the Gay & Lesbian Fund for Colorado, all gifts made by new donors are eligible for a dollar for dollar match! That means you can double your donation with no extra effort! There’s no better time to make your first gift.
Have you donated to The Gathering Place before? You can still be a part of this great match. If you are able to donate a higher amount than your previous gift(s), the additional amount will be eligible for the same dollar for dollar match! Can’t remember the amount of your previous highest gift? Contact Samantha for help!
